Picking Up The Rental Car
Today, we picked up the rental car and decorated it for the honeymoon. They put us in a Honda Odyssey and I must say, it’s pretty comfortable. If it didn’t try to handle like a sports car with crummy hard suspension because that’s all that anyone wants from manufacturers anymore, I bet this thing would be a pretty nice ride. Well, minus the distracting tablet for a radio and the god awful, non-intuitive, push button shifter. I’ll show that off tomorrow when we take some more pictures. The decorations came out nice on this minivan though, courtesy of my lovely wife. It started pouring on me when I was packing for the trip in the morning though, so we’ll see if they survived. If not, we’ll have to touch them up when we stop with some daylight. It might be silly, but it’s a popular trend that allows us to share our joy with others. We’re excited to experience our roadtrip honeymoon and to share it with all of you.
